Pediatric

You know your kid. Something isn't right.

You keep being told your baby is fine. But you're the one up at 3am. Your instincts brought you here — let's figure out what's actually going on.

Why babies need nervous system support

Birth is hard on a baby's body.

Even a smooth, uncomplicated delivery puts real physical stress on a newborn's spine and nervous system. They've been curled in the same position for months, then they go through one of the most physically demanding experiences of their life in a matter of hours.

That stress doesn't automatically resolve on its own. It shows up — as colic, latch struggles, reflux, sleep issues, tight muscles, or a baby who only settles when held. Sometimes it doesn't show up in an obvious way until later, as sensory sensitivity or regulation challenges in toddlerhood.

Pediatric chiropractic care isn't about cracking a baby's back. The adjustments we use for newborns and infants involve no more pressure than you'd use to check if a peach is ripe. Gentle, specific input that helps a tiny body release tension it's been holding since birth.

Common reasons families bring babies in

The patterns we see again and again.

Latch difficulty

Nursing preference to one side, shallow latch, or feeding aversion.

Colic & fussiness

Inconsolable crying and a baby who can't settle.

Reflux & digestion

Discomfort, spit-up, and tension patterns in the gut.

Sleep struggles

Won't settle, only sleeps when held, wakes every 45 minutes.

Tummy time resistance

Head shape concerns, torticollis, or a strong side preference.

General tension

A baby who just seems uncomfortable in their body.

It's not just about babies

Older kids need nervous-system support too.

The nervous system doesn't stop needing support after infancy. The older kids get, the more their nervous system has been asked to handle without help. We see kids of all ages for:

Meltdowns & emotional regulation

Sensory overwhelm or sensitivity

Sleep problems

Focus and attention challenges

Recurring illness or immune support

Sports injuries and growing pains

Special needs nervous system support

What gentle pediatric adjustments actually look like

No popping. No cracking. No sudden movements.

For newborns and infants, the adjustment is done with one or two fingertips and feels like gentle sustained pressure. Babies often fall asleep during or immediately after.

For toddlers and older kids, we use the same instrument-assisted tonal technique we use for adults, scaled to their size. It's quiet, fast, and doesn't hurt. Most kids think it's pretty cool once they see it.

We never do anything without explaining it to you first. You'll always know what we found, what we're doing, and why.
